Big update-Alpha1.1.4 is Out!
Christmas is coming and with it a new big update of ZombiesWorld(ZW).
A week ago the special christmas demo was released with some of the elements of this new update, so I'm going in se devLog to present you all these new features that will bring you more fun and pleasure to play!
We have created a new unit,
the soldier doctor, you will recognize him with the red cross on his helmet. This unit will allow you to heal your soldiers who have suffered from a lack of food/water/fatigue. To treat your soldier you must place the doctor unit near the wounded person and a "treat" button will appear in the doctor's operating menu. To make it difficult to treat a wounded person you will need a medical kit that your unit will be able to produce in the infirmary room.
The infirmary room,
at this stage, will only be used to create medical kits. In the future this room will have a new activity.
To produce medi kits in the infirmary the same mechanism is used (like the armoury, research points, etc.) it will be necessary to place your unit there so that it works there and after x time of work in the room it will produce the resource.
How do I get a medical unit?
You will need to train one of your soldier to learn this skill, that's why we have added in this update a new training...the medical training.
Here too, the mechanism is simple ... you need to create a training room in your shelter and place the unit to be trained in it ... it will create training points throughout its permanence in the room and once the necessary points are accumulated you will be able to choose the new skill in the unit's operating menu.
we also had the training room lifted... prettier ^^
I also remind you that in order to obtain new soldiers it will be necessary to unlock the "radio" technology so that you can contact your superiors and "buy" new units/equipment and all this will be parachuted to you.

A new weapon is coming, the knife.
the knife works with its own alghorithm.
If you are lucky, you can stick the knife in the zombie's head and kill him right away, or if you are unlucky, your stab does not kill the zombie and it is possible, if you are really unlucky, that the zombie will contaminate you before dying with your second stab.
The fog war
The fog war is also coming so that we can surprise you!
What's hidden in the fog? Zombies! haha.
This is the first version of the fog of war system, the area or areas where your character sees the fog disappears and reappears in a certain time.
If you tried the last demo you will have already enjoyed the war fog.
The system will evolve over time but I had fun inserting it in this update.
I can't imagine a world full of zombies where there's no blood, and you? that's why this postponement brings the blood particles into the game, yes it's "simple" but the trump of the game is not in the graphics but in the gamplays ...at least for the moment.
new Zombies
you will be able to appreciate the diversity of zombies, we have created several zombie "models" including female zombies and, given the period, "Boss" Santa Claus zombies which will be more tough.
These Zombies have had their script improved, they are more "intelligent", they can sense you and change their objective during their hunt, they can't always climb stairs, so take advantage of this facility before I solve the problem. ^^
since the zombies have received a bit of extra inteligence...I have created a new trap for you.
The sound trap
The sound trap, you can place it wherever you want and it will be activated with a timer ... All the zombies in a certain radius will move towards it. You can combine several traps to create a great trap and kill a lot of zombies.
to improve the performances the maximum number of zombies present in the scene has been limited.this limit will be adjustable in the options later on.
third mouse button
in the improvement of the gameplay to move the camera on the map, in addition to the edge scrolling, the third mouse button will also help you.
the green team
The first mission is now active.you have to take possession of the shelter, clean it and resist while waiting for the arrival of the green team...
it's done, it should appear in the second day. It will bring you two new soldiers to make up for your losses while you build the rooms necessary for your survival, don't forget that soldiers eat, drink, sleep and need ammunition.
the forest biome
With this mission activated, the map was enlarged and a new biome was created. The biome of the forest.
Graphic improvement for the officers' room.
now the officers' room allows the accelerated creation of command points that will allow you to get unit news, material, etc. in the Radio menu.
Thanks to this update, this room has been built so that it activates the exploration menu. I think it's a good idea that the officer's room allows you to organize explorations/expeditions.
The exploration/expedition system
The exploration/expedition system is a great novelty, it allows you to send soldiers on exploration to harvest resources.
The exploration menu is composed of several options, you will have to choose the number of soldiers to send, the vehicle it will use and will affect the possible amount of resource harvested (on foot with backpack, on foot with wheelbarrow, by car, by helicopter), the range of action and the duration in days of the exploration, a faith set the necessary cost of resource to allow the operation will be displayed and free to you to launch it or not. Another novelty linked to the exploration system is the small flag (currently fixed on the map) which indicates the place of return of your squad in exploration, it is there that they will reappear once the time of the mission is over, so make sure that the area of "return" is not under zombie domination.
and finally two new pages were added to the good officer's book.
A lot of new and improved features for this update 1.1.4 which brings a more enjoyable gaming experience and new possibilities of strategy and tactics. I hope this update will bring you a lot of fun to play.
